I studied Psychology and Political Economy at Sydney University and subsequently spent over 15 years working in politics and social policy in both Sydney and London.  In 2011 I moved to Devon with my family and currently live on a smallholding on Dartmoor that we have retrofitted with carbon neutral energy systems.  I have been interested in ecology and environmental issues from a young age and we manage our smallholding in order to conserve and enhance its biodiversity.  In 2019 I set up Zero Waste Moretonhampstead, a not for profit company operating a refill shop that sells food and household essentials free from plastic packaging.
